Manage Files

The Manage Files page allows you to add files to and remove files from your account. During the job submission process, you will have the option to select files from the list to send with your job submission.

Once at least one file has been added to your account, a list appears containing the following file properties:

Sort by Column. In some career sites, you can click any column header to sort the list by that column's contents. Click the column header again to switch the sort order. For example, the first time you click the File Name column header, the column sorts in alphabetical order. If you click the File Name column header a second time, the column will sort in reverse alphabetical order.

To add a file to your account from your computer:

  1. Click Add or Upload an Attachment, depending on the career site you are viewing. The Upload File page appears.

  2. In the File Properties container, provide a name for the file. The system will not prevent you from duplicating file names, however to avoid confusion, it is best to supply a unique and descriptive name.

  3. Use the pull-down menu to select the appropriate file language.

  4. Use the pull-down menu to select the appropriate type.

  5. Click the Browse button. Locate the file or enter the appropriate network or local computer file path and type and click Open to add the file (click Cancel to abandon the action).

  6. Click OK to add the file to your account; click Cancel to abandon the action.

To add a file to your account from the cloud:

  1. If the Upload from Cloud option is available, click the icon that corresponds to the location in the cloud where your file is located. For example, click the Dropbox icon to select and upload a file to Recruiting Center from your Dropbox account. The Upload Attachment dialog box appears.

  2. In the File Properties container, provide a name for the file. The system will not prevent you from duplicating file names, however to avoid confusion, it is best to supply a unique and descriptive name.

  3. Use the pull-down menu to select the appropriate file language.

  4. Use the pull-down menu to select the appropriate type.

  5. In the File field, click the Choose from ... button. For example, if you are uploading an attachment from Dropbox, click Choose from Dropbox.

  6. Once you have logged into your cloud account, select the file that you want to upload to Recruiting Center.

  7. Click OK to add the file to your account; click Cancel to abandon the action.

To view a file in the list:

  1. Click the hyperlinked name corresponding to the file you want to view. Depending on your browser settings, you will be presented with the option to Open or Save the file, or the file will display in the appropriate application.

To remove a file from the list:

  1. Click the checkbox(es) corresponding to the file(s) you want to delete.

  2. Click Remove. The system automatically removes the files from your account.

Removing a file removes it from your career site account. However, in the employer's system, the file will still be associated with any job submissions to which you attached it.
