Important! If your resume document is open, please close it before attempting to upload it. |
Use the Language of Resume menu to indicate the language in which your resume is saved.
If Resume Extraction is enabled on the site you are using, you have the option to use the uploaded resume to update the resume you have on file, the contact information in your Personal Preferences page, or both. Indicate what you want to update by selecting the corresponding check box(es). Depending on your selections, the Resume Information page will auto-populate as follows:
Update Resume — If you choose to update only the resume portion of your candidate account, the Resume Information page displays extracted data from your resume for the Executive Summary, Experience, Education, and Languages sections, but displays your existing contact information from your Personal Preferences page in the Contact Information section.
Update Contact Information Only — If you choose to update only the contact information portion of your candidate account, and not the resume on file, only the Contact Information section in the Resume Information page is extracted from the resume you upload. The Executive Summary, Experience, Education, and Languages sections contain any previously entered resume information for your account, if available.
Update Both Resume and Contact — If you select both check boxes, all the information displayed in the Resume Information page is extracted from your uploaded resume.
Once your work is complete, click OK.
If Resume Extraction is not enabled on the site you are using, the system directs you to the Candidate Home page.
If Resume Extraction is enabled on the site you are using, the system displays the Resume Information page, where you can review and modify the information you are uploading. When you upload a resume for your candidate record, the information is transformed into a standard set of structured data so that it can be properly entered into the employer's hiring system. The Resume Information page allows you to confirm that the resume was accurately processed and to modify or expand upon it if necessary.

Important! If you upload a resume attachment, both the attachment and the processed information is forwarded to the employer. If you modify any of the resume data in the Resume Information page, the processed data will differ from your uploaded resume file. |
